| 703953 | 2008-09-09 22:22:00 | Hi Nick, and welcome to PressF1 :thumbs: As Speedy suggests, you should get rid of Norton Antivirus - it's ineffective at preventing/detecting virus's, and is somewhat over-engineered, so will be slowing your PC down. Download the removal tool from here (service1.symantec.com), and then install either AVG 8 (free.avg.com) or avast! (www.avast.com). Both of these are free and pretty darn good (i'd go for avast personally), but if you want the best antivirus, buy either NOD32 or Kaspersky. Let us know how you get on! :) |
