703813 2008-09-09 05:32:00 Hi there,

What ADSL2+ modems do you have and recommend? I just got switched over to the red network on vodafone today but I've still got my d-link 4 port router that came with ihug years ago!

Any suggestions would be awesome.

Cheers,
aonghas

703814 2008-09-09 08:21:00 I have been installing quite a few of the NetComm NB6Plus4W ADSL2+ 4 Port Wireless Modem/Router in customers places lately- you need to alter a couple of settings to get them to work in NZ, but they appear to work fine - no complaints so far. wainuitech (129)

Linskys are also a good brand.

Sorry to sort of butt in here, but what is wrong with the D-Link 604T? I presently have a 504T, it seems fine, and I may want to move to a wireless router. Thought the 604T Gen2 would be fine?

703820 2008-09-10 03:00:00 I've got a Linksys WAG200G (www-nz.linksys.com 08&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=7370881917B01) works really well, easy to setup. Was nice and cheap also :) stormdragon (6013)
703821 2008-09-10 07:01:00 I've installed a couple of teh WAG200G lately and both have been easy to install.

Glad that stuff article went for the WAG160N as I've just ordered one of those for here at home. $173.95 on countdown sale at C1 Shoppingmall. Well worth a look at that price.

703822 2008-09-10 10:00:00 I'm using US Robotics USR 9108. It comes with several ISP settings loaded. Setup is easy. It has non-braodcast mode and a built-in USB print server as well. I'm very pleased with it but I don't to see many people using it. Taurus (9579)
