| 470677 | 2006-07-14 02:02:00 | My bro went there to pick up a cheap laser toner. I have no idea why he got a non HP product. This is the 3rd toner in total (incl the one provided by the printer). The 2nd toner was a HP product. He said, the salesman said it was the samething but costed less. Haha. It has a 60 day return policy but now its been 4 months. On one side you get streaks all the time despite running 10 pages of blank sheets via it. I thought it was the printer, having read that there are fuser or such things in the printer that needs replacing as time goes on. I then popped in the old HP toner and it was fine from the first page. Now, I was thinking of getting a non brand camera battery - those expensive things which is particular with each camera model. So sirree. I am going to get that expensive item now. N. |

| 470679 | 2006-07-14 02:34:00 | Well I've had no problems with the refilled cartridges in my HP printer, and they are a 5 minute walk from my place so they're all good in my book :D | Edward (31) | ||

There is a major difference between refilled (i.e. no moving or non-moving parts are replaced, the cartridge is simply topped up with toner) and remanufactured (where certain parts are replaced) toner cartridges. The cheaper the cartridge then the more likely it has only been refilled. Refilled cartridges have a higher probability of failure given the cartridge components are only designed to last for one cycle, so that is the risk the consumer takes when buying refilled toner cartridges. Your brother should ask before he buys in future and it is usually a good idea to only use genuine cartridges while the printer is under warranty. Andrew |

If your printer suffers then you have to get your printer analysed and get a statement and quote so the company can go pay for the repair. Well, for a home user, a toner last us for 2-3 years. This discounted toner lasted us for 4 months and has to be binned away. If the warranty was longer than 2 months I can give them a break ... Its probably done less than 200 pages. HP comes with a lifetime warranty. Get another from Cartridge World and try again, yeah right. |

| 470684 | 2006-07-14 06:01:00 | Its funny you said that, when he went in, he asked for a fill up, but the guy said no but instead gave him one off the shelve . Not having a good day, I just released I bought a counterfeit Sandisk memory card off eBay . It looks real, serial number etc . , even the SD card's write protect lock works, but when you zoom into the packaging with a scanner you can tell its a fake . Probably drive a chisel via this crap when I get a another . |

| 470685 | 2006-07-14 06:03:00 | I never been in the store before I always thought it was a stationery store, I thought it was a store that sold new manufactuered by a 3rd party equip. Never occured to me it was reloading. Didn't even knew he went to that store til I got home. Only found it was a reload today when I read the packaging he knew it was but never advised me of that. | Nomad (952) | ||
