469827 2006-07-13 08:13:00 ohh yes i forgot Billy T im 6th form doing a research how main computer componets have been made the last 3 componets i need to find is "hard drive", "BIOS chip" and "CMOS chips"...yeah i hope i can find anythink on them!!!
I think its a bit much these teachers asking for this sort of thing when they haven't even covered English spelling and grammar.

It is a sealed aluminum box with controller electronics attached to one side. The electronics control the read/write mechanism and the motor that spins the platters. The electronics also assemble the magnetic domains on the drive into bytes (reading) and turn bytes into magnetic domains (writing). The electronics are all contained on a small board that detaches from the rest of the drive

I've already asked once for people to keep it nice, and I guess that didn't work. Getting sick of having to keep saying it too.
