| 704215 | 2008-09-12 03:06:00 | If ATI OEM manufacturers made a decent cooling solution, I might consider an ATI card, however until they do, I wont touch one. It's not about if. (www.ascent.co.nz) But that card's been OC'd a bit. The zalman heatsink on it should make it a fair bit cooler. Just looked, and you can get this Asus 3850 (www.ascent.co.nz) with an updated cooler. They say 20C cooler than reference. |

As for drivers, I dont understand people updating their drivers every 2 wks or so.....I havent touched mine since install 2/1/2 months ago...... Er...was I? Not every 2 weeks, but it does make a small difference you know. Benchmark something as is, then try a newer driver and do it again. |
