It was shown on free to air television early hours this morning and this thread was created when the game finished.Yeah that's one point of view. Another is that some would like to be able to sleep in and still be able to view PressF1 without having a spoiler thrust into their face before watching a later replay. Greg (193)

469764 2006-07-10 19:54:00 A suggestion -

(We've had this before - usually with rugby . . )

There'd be no problem if posters didn't put game results in their thread title .
.
Just name the game there . Then do the business in the thread itself .
That way, the slowcoaches can read it later without moaning .
That's the logical way .

But when did logic come into excitement about sport wins?
(sigh)

Please don't apologise for one person. As far as I'm concerned If you love the sport that much you will do one of the following, have sky, go to a mates house with sky, go to the pub,WAKE UP ON TIME when its live on free to air, if none of the above suits you, you ain't a true sports fan so the results mean nothing

Just fyi, I don't really enjoy soccer, I had a mild interest in the finals result, I was awake a few hours before it showed on free-to-air TV, I watched it live on free-to-air TV.

My point was what Laura said. Just she has a lot more tact than me and displays a lot more tolerence for idiots.

Greg - have you heard the result of the last Rugby World Cup - I was holding off posting the result until you had watched your tape back log . It must be hell having all those tapes to watch but if you could post on here as you watch them then we should be able to accommodate you in not hearing the results in advance .

I hope I'm not giving anything away but England won the 1966 World Cup final against Germany, I'll let you know what happened in 1970 when you give the all clear . As you can see, we are all working on our tolerance for idiots so please be patient .

There is no problem as I see it if people post the result when it happens . If you don't want to know a sports result don't log on to the internet . If I can't watch the TV I'm always following the results live on the net anyway - as most fans do .

469770 2006-07-12 11:56:00 Greg says he doesn't like soccer but he watched it for two and a half hours. Now that is stupid Dally (6292)
