Have volunteered to help at the kids School with their quiz night, I was wondering if there is a program available that would show the results via a data projector onto a screen. every 50 questions the kids will grab the answer sheets from each table and they will be marked, we then want to show how each team is doing. Thought about using excel but was hoping someone had been down this path, or one similar, and had found a cool program to do this.

(I only know about the pub ones. Have helped provide questions for some rural fund-raisers)

What age range are the kids?
Divided into what size groups? Arbitrarily. or choose their own members?

50 questions sounds a lot before marking... for them to see how they're scoring versus others. The competitive instinct is usually what makes it fun.

How many questions altogether on the night?
Are they divided into categories or all general knowledge?

(And if you don't want to be quizzed yourself, just ignore this)

472518 2006-07-21 19:09:00 You don't need a specific programme to achieve what you want. All you need is for your projector to be connected to your graphics card and any application you run, eg Word or whatever, will show on the screen. Greg (193)
472519 2006-07-21 21:21:00 You can use Powerpoint for this as it is easier to make it look pretty. Just prepare a slide show with a table with the correct heading titles and number of rows required. Then fill in the fields with the results as the quiz progresses. You may want to turn off the projector while you update the results so that they only see the complete update each time and as not as you fill in each line. Jen (38)
