| 471936 | 2006-07-29 06:39:00 | Incidentally it's great fun coming into Christchurch on strong southwesterly or northwesterly days. If you don't get the living daylights shaken out of you then you get to leave your stomach up on the plane's ceiling when it suddenly drops 100ft or so hitting an air pocket, or whatever it hits. Really good character building stuff. :p ah, ha :p, more like re building your stomach stuff :p :D |

| 471937 | 2006-07-30 07:44:00 | I live on the airport side of Lyall Bay (Wellington). I watch the planes coming in over the sea to land and thank my lucky stars I'm not on board some days. I also see the Wgtn./Picton ferries and on rough days they look pretty scary. But the best sight currently is the snowcapped Kaikouras. Martynz |
