472025 2006-07-26 05:53:00 No, all the Aucklanders need is a powercut for the whole world except Auckland, so we have something to laugh about too. pcuser42 (130)
472026 2006-07-27 00:28:00 The non-Aucklanders need a translation for "the Killing Room."

Otherwise, there are too many choices for the imagination...It is a good name :D Sadly it's not an institution for recycling politicians and trolls as dogfood and firelighters. Its a rehearsal room minicomplex that my friend in Ak started up about 6 years ago.....
I'm guarding it, and while there's noone dodgy turning up who i must run out and bite the ankles of, i'm taking advantage of the office computer, which offers the only broadband connected computer i have free access to.

Hey this Auckland place is nice.. It's great coming back to where i was bought up, where my roots are, and seeing how much it's all changed......

All is good.

472027 2006-07-27 02:43:00 By a strange co-incidence, I've just seen in a list of books -

The Killing Room by Peter May.

472028 2006-07-27 17:12:00 If we allow "here" as a point in time or space or both, then "here I is" might be past-tense or future perfect .

The fact that here is where I am, and this time is when I chose to announce that, then I guess I qualify in both catagories .

Here is Southern California, USA, Northern hemisphere . . etc, etc .
Weather is: Hades-hot, humidity factors make you breathe with gurgling sounds .

Attire: so far, none . (Hope my webcam is off)

Time is: 9AM, Thursday, July 27th .

Noteworthy notes to be noted: Fires all around us . . . air is thick with smoke; no earthquakes of noticeable magnitude to report; quitely awaiting armageddon; belly full of eggs, toast, hash-browns and sausage patties, dark Venetian roast coffee (the city, not the planet), going to play some electric guitar with lots of wah and distortion to punish the neighbors for keeping me awake last night with their banda music and Mexican drunken braying at the new moon . (Wishing Google-Earth was interactive!)
