| 704737 | 2008-09-14 10:07:00 | how do i kno the ports for lanschool and how do i block these or nuke the client that is invading my privacy!!! hey im trying lanschool on my network setup (at home not school ;D) and i would like to know wat ports the student version needs for the teacher to be able to see the 'student' screen and remote control his pc..... yeh no a mate is using it to control the internet but hes also using it to watch me which i dont like so is it possible to block it but still show up on the 'teacher' screen? You know we didn't come down in the last rainfall. According to the lanschool website FAQ, you can uninstall lanschool using the installation CD only ... and seeing as it is your network, therefore your computer, just uninstall it. Why install it in the first place? According to the lanschool website, the product is fairly child/student proof and has tools to detect any *fiddling* by the students and this will show up as a security alert. Just thought you ought to know that. ;) |
