| 472070 | 2006-07-19 08:10:00 | Running from memory, the HDDs are faster, they run about 11MB/S, flash run at 4MB/S (thats what I get here approx, 40GB USB Lappie HDD, and my MP3 Player) I am getting a new external HDD I am going to be ordering tomorrow (I hope) should have enough speed :D HTH :thumbs: |

Note the thingy under my Name... (They call me David :p) I am actually ordering it now, from Ascent... :D I am getting a 300GB Seagate SATAII (www.ascent.co.nz) and a Vantec Nexstar 3 SATA to USB 2 and eSATA (www.ascent.co.nz) The reason Seagate? They are the most reliable brand in my opinion. Why the Vantech Nexstar? It interfaces with eSATA (external SATA) so it can have the same speed as an internal desktop HDD and it looks cool :p HTH :thumbs: |

Even though you can get others less than half the price, i couldnt resist the Vantec ones. I think they are better quality as well. I got a 3.5" and a laptop hdd one (2.5"?) The laptop hdd one is great, you don't need an external power source, it runs straight of USB! |
