705815 2008-09-16 21:16:00 On boot up see this message under Physical Drives (have 2 x 250GB HDDs) – “an error occurred” - on one drive.
Is there an application that can download (or has been on any of the PCWorld disks) to tell me what is going on here?!
Thanks

705817 2008-09-16 22:00:00 You should get the diagnostic software from the website of whatever HDD manufacturer you have. pctek (84)

x2.

Easiest way to do it is download the Ultimate Boot CD ISO (www.ultimatebootcd.com) and burn it to a CD using imgburn, then boot off it. You get pretty much every HDD diag on the market, as well as a bunch of other useful stuff.
