Hey ive got a Acer Travelmate 230 which i had running on saturday perfectly then i went out and forgot to lock the workstation and my brother did some stuff but i did not notice until sunday when i started it up and tried to log in, the computer logged me out right away with out doing anything i think it might be permissions problem how can i fix short of reinstalling it? |

Run a Restore. You might need to boot into Safe Mode and run this. |

cant log in at all even with the root account it says loading personal settings then says logging off |

hey i fixed it i took the hdd out and used it as an external and WINDOWS (the folder) had had all its permissions deleted so i had to set them all up again and now it is working right again |
