| 474292 | 2006-07-29 23:04:00 | Which reminds me beetle I'll give you the same advice people on here give when computers are playing up and beeping 1) Take a stick of ram out of the washing machine :rolleyes: 2) Put a Linux live CD in and set it to spin, (try Knoppix or Weetbix, should have same effect) if it spins up Ok then the problem is not with the machine, but with the previous operating system "Beetle OS service pack 32", If the machine doesn't spin up then it is most likely a hardware fault and you may need to replace the spinny belt thing Hope this help |
