Most people haven't been setting the number of days the poll is to run either. This is behind all those poll threads making a random re-appearance when someone finds an old one and then decides to vote on it. I've been closing those when I see them now. I've also been adding a close out date (between 3-4 weeks) on any recently created polls I've spotted that have been left as open-ended which I think is reasonable. :) |
