474772 2006-07-31 08:51:00 I can simply move video and music files of various formats onto my phone via the data cable, and retrieve my photos in the same way .

I specificly sought a phone with these features seeing as I didn't have to pay for it, After going through the process of encoding the movie files into a usable file and purchasing a 2gb memory card and loading her to the hilt I haven't bothered again, A phone is for making phone calls, I cant be bothered with "free' media let along paying through the nose for streaming marketing .

Still, Soon after that I bought a PSP and done it all over again . That hasn't been touched in a month either .

But, I dont buy newspapers anymore, 2 minutes on stuff or Google news and I have 20 tabs of news open . . . . . . And all the adds are blocked .

Edit

Books?

Can't beat em, Just started reading another, must be about the 20th this year which for me is a pretty low amount .

Hmmmmmmmm . . . . . they still MAKE books?

WIKIPEDIA DEFINITION:

A book is a collection of sheets of paper, parchment or other material with a piece of text written on them, bound together along one edge within covers . A book is also a literary work or a main division of such a work . A book produced in electronic format is known as an e-book .

In library and information science, a book is called a monograph to distinguish it from serial publications such as magazines, journals or newspapers .

Publishers may produce low-cost, pre-proof editions known as galleys or 'bound proofs' for promotional purposes, such as generating reviews in advance of publication . Galleys are usually made as cheaply as possible, since they are not intended for sale .

A lover of books is usually referred to as a bibliophile, a bibliophilist, or a philobiblist, or, more informally, a bookworm .

A book may be studied by students in the form of a book report . It may also be covered by a professional writer as a book review to introduce a new book . Some belong to a book club .

Likewise, although I have a cellphone, I am not a slave to it . Sometimes I even ignore it when it rings (what you mean I am supposed to answer it )
It also doesn't have a camera, play music, etc etc . It is just a phone (although it can browse the internet but I can't see the point) .

They keep adding features to cellphones to just sell more . I bet those cellphones you can play music on, you have to download it (charge for connection time) and you can't copy it off the phone .

I had a mobile once .

I hate the damn things, and I'm 16 .

Went through the wash, screwed it up, never been happier :)

I love my PSP though . . . And my PC .

making radio more akin to TV .

But the beauty of Radio is you dont have to focus on video as well to get an idea of whats going on . Ideal for most .

No, these are VERY old storage mediums, before CDs (DOS came on them when there were no CDs).
