474310 2006-07-28 10:53:00 Speaking of FF issues with websites, does anyone else here have trouble using FF with http://tvnz.co.nz/ ? When I first open that page using FF, or if navigate to another page within the TVNZ website, often the image to the top left of the screen does a number of weird and wonderful things. Is anyone else seeing this? andrew93 (249)
474311 2006-07-28 11:11:00 Cant tell, Both eyes were blinded and I wouldn't be surprised if I need intensive councilling after viewing the TVNZ website for a mere second or two, I suggest they hire at least another 20 "webmasters" to add more content and features.

Possibly the team of super-humans who Telecom gave 8 million to build Ferrit, which is in competttion with TVNZ and the Xtra Homepage for large pile of useless and badly designed Donkey crap of the year award.

And even futher off topic, Telecom have blamed the failure of Ferrit on Marketing, seems if you get the marketing right you can sell anything, Or maybe that only works in a market where you have complete control. God knows they would charge people a "maitenence fee" to visit their websites if they could figure out how to.

Must drink more beer and continue the fight by sitting in a dark room posting on forums............... :help:

I told Telecom what a pile of crap Ferrit was when they started up, but would they listen... noooo. Now I'm reduced to sitting in a darkened room drink beer terrified of weasels with pointy teeth. I haven't sunk to posting on forums yet thank god

474314 2006-07-28 13:27:00 mejoebloggs... I read a while back that compliance- wise Opera is top, IE 2nd, F/fox 3rd. They even had examples of how well each browser rendered pages.

Acid test? Yeah... Safari, then Opera, then FF, then then the miserable IE down in the deep dark bottom.

Although I heard on #css irc channell that Opera 9 has a few wierd quirks with it's css rendering.

FF1.0.7 ? Why?
