474269 2006-07-28 11:41:00 Make sure the RAM is seated properly, it may have come a bit unstuck when the washing was unbalanced. :p

Also does the little light on the front of the box blink on and off? :D

474271 2006-07-28 18:31:00 I always knew you Yanks had strange customs Joe, but an electric spoon used to empty a bowel of icecream.

I wouldn't put it near my dishwasher after that either, and it begs the question: How on earth did you get the icecream in there in the first place, or did you use the electric spoon for that as well.

Cheers

Billy 8-{) :D

I got it in a set with the electric fork.

474274 2006-07-28 22:54:00 Electric spoon for sale. Excellent condition. One owner. Only used for soups and occasionally a bowel of icecream. Never placed in a dishwasher! Make offer.

bowel
n : the part of the alimentary canal between the stomach and the anus

I don't think that spoon would be a very good buy

The goverment is like a baby's alimentary canal, with a happy appetite at one end and no responsibility at the other. :)

474278 2006-07-29 01:44:00 Don't worry Beetle,

Dear old planet Mercury has been retrograde since 4 July and finishes today at 12 . 41pm, thank god .
It's been readily observed and documented that when Mercury is retrograde, the potential increases for travel delays and other frustrations due to equipment failure, confusion, misdirection, and other errors . If you don't want to end up with a lemon, avoid buying new or used cars or other vehicles, computers, as well as electrical and mechanical devices for the home and office . Events and meetings are delayed or cancelled, books, keys etc are lost or misplaced . Wedding planners often advise not to make any permanent bookings as something is bound to screw up .

Mercury does this 4 times a year . :(

2 weeks ago I went for my license renewal, and didn't pass the eye test . Could see all the letters OK, but there were only 2 columns, and I should have seen a third column . So they took my 44 . 30, wouldn't give me a temporary license, and told me to get a form from an eye specialist - extra 60 . 00 . - and bring it back to them . Because one of my eyes is weaker than the other it can cause this apparantly . So at least got a form saying that my eyes were good for driving anyway .

Well, while I was there, she said that one of my lens needed sharpening a bit . These are glasses I was given back in 1972 for driving so my eyes haven't done too bad over the years . Anyway, decided to go for some modern small oblong-shaped glasses with rims only at the top of the lens + special coating that protects the lens and stops the glare, and something else but can't remember .
So all together, trotting down the road to relicense and 2 return trips to the specialist cost me $461 . 30 . Now I just gotta live for the next 10 years to get my money's worth .

Just a thought, if you and your family bathed with your clothes on, you would save on the hot water, and you wouldn't need the washing machine [or 2 in your case] :p

Cheers
