473234 2006-07-25 06:36:00 Tickle looks really limited and amateurish against well known companies such as http://www.frogprints.co.nz. Half the stuff still has a "coming soon" against it. Pretty poor that any help or support stuff is hidden in a blog as well. Not that there is much help or any other details available.

Be giving that company a big wide berth.

Strange how that company has only been running for a few weeks now and has a new member posting so enthusiatically about it ...

You're way too cynical, Jen. :D

Suppose you noticed that he's a "Business manager" too? :p

473237 2006-07-25 11:07:00 Err obfuscating the address is the first sign of a scam, and the first rule that ANYONE who is thinking of handing over money should investigate . Where is the bricks and morter and contact phone? Either they are stupid or its a con . Either way is it worth it?

473240 2006-07-25 22:42:00 Hi,

Just a little bit of feedback about what I have read. We developed the site for tickle.co.nz so I will fill you in a little bit on some of the things said.

We do have a physical address with a staff member there regular hours, please call 0800 tickle and speak with Jandy if you have any questions about our photo ordering or the company, she will be more than happy to talk with you and our service.

Yes we do have coming soon on many of our products, that's because we have re-built their site from scratch and we are still working on the site. Our products should be back online this week and far cooler than frog prints.

We choose to use a blog so we can keep www.tickle.co.nz (http://www.tickle.co.nz) very streamlined a simple.

Tickle also has been around for about 18 months now so we are not a new player. If you do sign up we offer 10 free prints and the lowest price online, plus we offer all our users photo sharing (you choose which photos that are shared so by default they are all private), mine are www.tickle.co.nz/photos/bluespark/

Yes the registered trade name is Hubble Bubble, they have a product branded tickle so I don't see any issues in this as we may have many different products in the future.

Thanks,
John Ballinger, Bluespark

(this will be my only post, I am not into forum wars and flaming, it always ends up far too personal. Thanks for the feedback, and we offer feedback straight back to us via the tickle site and blog.)

473241 2006-07-26 01:02:00 Hmm. A few "theirs" and "ours" in all that. Which is which? On one hand he tries to disassociate himself from the business, and on the other he's defending it to a degree which suggests otherwise.

As for "I am not into forum wars and flaming, it always ends up far too personal" he knows a heck of a lot about forums not to be "into forum wars".

:D
