473121 2006-07-24 09:01:00 Which ISP offers the best value for money dialup internet? I know that you get what you pay for with KOL's $10 unlimited plan, but is Orcon's $15 unlimited plan good?

I'm looking at this for my grandparents who can't afford $30 per month for ADSL. They have never had much to do with computers before now, so I want an unlimited plan in case they forget to disconnect.

473122 2006-07-24 09:09:00 I've been using www.e3.net.nz dialup offering for years for 10 bucks a month. It's unlimited. No probs with connection and all that. I'm happy with it. Part of Orcon now, part of Dresden corp, part of Asia Online who cares works fine, have a look. HTH......m

Or.....have a look at www.netguide.co.nz. and look for the ISP directory.

Ten bucks a month?

Greven: It is likely that your grandparents will probably do most of their surfing, etc during the day and KOL are not too bad then . It's during peak hours that KOL turn into a bit of a dog sometimes .

They are cheap and you are not locked into any plan with them . Pay your sub monthly and if you don't like them just don't bother paying the next one, as simple as that . Costs nothing to join and only $10 to fork out to try so they might be worth a whirl .
