Dog breeding...... good brood bitches who look after their young and will do anything to keep the helpless pups safe, warm & fed no matter what conditions they are kept in. Their pups will usually grow up to be good parents too.

Poor brood bitches who couldn't give a ..... who's pups would die without human intervention. Their pups, who in nature wouldn't have survived to breed do so and the gene pool is sullied. Just more dogs produced who shouldn't breed.

Human intervention isn't always a good idea.

The option that has the best chance of fixing the problem as above wouldn't be palatable to most.

No solutions....... love and education seem to be the only options available.

475390 2006-08-07 07:21:00 People who offend against society don't deserve to live in our society. That's getting a bit ridiculous isn't it? I mean hey, some one might find that statement offensive, and then ooh yeh would have to go and live in isolation somewhere. personthingy (1670)
475391 2006-08-07 07:57:00 There is more neglect in new zealand of children than just physical violence....... violence is just one way to neglect these children.
:illogical

Lack of clothes, shoes, nappies, lack of food, general care and attention, a warm home, a bed to sleep in most of us take for granted. this is not just the poverty striken families that neglect there children in any of these way. Some well off families dont have the necessities of life that a child may need.

I abhore any form of neglect when it comes to children, but when it takes a life before someone notices..............we have failed this child. No matter who we are, someone must have seen this family, seen some signs, whether it be a family member or someone in the system, (dr's, nurse's, welfare, teachers, police?) before it got to this ending. this is not a one of thing...........this type of action is usually ongoing and repetitive.

I see this sort of thing in my line of work, i work with disturbed children........i also work with happy well adjusted normal by societies eyes children, i see a vast difference in these children, and the mental abuse of the children is deep, the physical, emotional abuse is often not seen by the public eye, but it can be picked up by those in the know, and takes a long time to fix, if ever. Some times these invisible scars are with them for life.
