706687 2008-09-21 01:24:00 I've managed to 'muddle' up my monitor (see above for model). Colour accuracy is important to me as a photographer who does my own printing...

In inverstigating a possible solution, the manual suggests:
a: Deleting plug & play monitor from Device Manager/Monitors and then finding 'Plug and Play monitor' by searching new Hardware (makes me slightly nervous!).

I am presuming that means 'Uninstall' and then how do I search for new Hardware?

b. Check the Graphic Card to see if it is compatible.

Where do I find what (if any!) Graphic Card I have? Sorry for such 'dumb' questions!

As always I appreciate, appreciate! :)

706688 2008-09-21 02:05:00 If you are using XP, right click My Computer/Properties/hardware tab/ Device Manager, scroll down and you will see a Monitor with a + next to it.

What you can do is right click the monitor (top one), select Scan for hardware changes Example (www.imagef1.net.nz) - if it doesn't fix it - what they are suggesting is selecting your monitor ( from the + Bottom one) then uninstalling it and reboot - it should automatically pick up the monitor again.

Yep - it did all of that, but still didn't fix the problem (in that I can't use Magic Tune to adjust the monitor). :(
