| 706489 | 2008-09-20 06:27:00 | I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem for my brother in New York so forgive me if I'm slow to get any information.... He just added a 1TB internal sata drive, he has another internal sata drive, and a sata dvd-rw. He says that only 2 devices will work at a time. With the 2 hard drives in, it won't recognize the burner. With a hard drive and the burner, it won't recognize the third hard drive etc. It's an Asus P4c-800e motherboard, running windows Vista. The third drive doesn't show up in the bios, it's not just windows. |

Just been working on a customers PC last week -same problem, the main drive & DVD writer both SATA both worked, the other 4 connections on the board were disabled - enabled them and additional drives worked fine. |
