| 706078 | 2008-09-18 04:52:00 | Hi there. My sister has a uni assignment due tomorrow, and yesterday she emailed her assignment to me to go over. I changed a few things, and emailed her the changed assignment back. Last night, she opened the assignment, added another 2000 words, and pressed save. Today she went to find it, but it has gone missing! Its not in her recently opened documents in word. She also opened the attachment i sent in the email again, and pressed 'save as' to see where it was probably saved too. The location was long and as yet, she hasnt been able to locate it on her computer. The location was something like APP Data/local/microsoft/window/Temporary internet files/low/content.ie5/wyz15nji/assignment(1) 'assignment' is the actual file name -- im assuming the (1) was put there because there was already a file of that name saved in the computer? Maybe the one we are after?? Anyway, so far, using the windows XP find file search, she hasnt been able to find the assignment. I know this is a long, drawn out story, but any help we can get, ASAP would be fantastic! |

Open the text file and have a look at each file to see if it's the one you are looking for. |

| 706082 | 2008-09-18 08:29:00 | KaydeeElle, wouldn't you still have it as a sent email on your computer? I'm sure she would, but unless I'm wrong, the problem seemed that the sister opened the document from the email, made some significant edits, but the file was saved somewhere in the temporary files location, making finding it tricky. |

Had she have selected "save As" then it would bring up a location to save it. You need to save the attachment someplace on the PC then edit it. |
