476003 2006-08-04 05:26:00 I think that sums up the article nicely:
www.behardware.com

In short, the tests show that LCD's can actually be a few fps behind a CRT. Take a look at the screenshots to get a good idea on what it's about

And another interesting thing:

"In this example, the dell monitor is 32 ms late."

So for games, a CRT player would have about 2x faster reaction times (reaction time for humans is around 30ms?) that the person using that monitor. Could make a difference in games I guess.

Then again, people usually adjust to lag very well on the net, so 32ms on the net wouldn't make a difference.

476006 2006-08-05 03:47:00 I have just spent about an hour and a half, half playing Oblivian :p (I was watching the frame rates, and adjusting the settings for best play :p) The_End_Of_Reality (334)

476008 2006-08-05 04:35:00 I just play them.
If it was noticeably laggy I'd care. I also care if I can't get full detail.
But apart from that I don't obsess about it.
