707543 2008-09-24 18:24:00 When my partner opens "my documrnts" the contents show in full screen but if she opens it from OE to look for something the box that appears only has very few icons showing and the box wont stretch to show more.Where can I change this setting ? kjaada (253)
707544 2008-09-25 10:46:00 Do you mean the insert file window from OE is too small? Can you see scroll bars? What happens if you select the view to be details rather than icons? I think this option is one of the icons on the right. Jen (38)
707545 2008-09-25 17:28:00 Yes that is what I am talking about. The box is so small and it only shows 3 icons out of
heaps Details list is about 7 out of the heaps.Yes I can see the scroll bar.
There is no provision for resizing at all that I can find.

707546 2008-09-25 18:41:00 When it's open at its (small) size, you could try physically dragging the box to the edges of the screen on all sides, rather than simply maximising the box using the (top right) button. Then close and re-open and see if the setting is retained. Cheers. A Team (13613)
707547 2008-09-25 19:10:00 It will not drag out to a bigger size and there is no maximize in the menu.
I wonder if it is anything to do with the window scheme ?

707548 2008-09-26 09:16:00 What window scheme are you using?

Can you see at the bottom right corner of the window a couple of small diagonal lines? Put your cursor over that and try dragging out the corner at a 45 deg angle towards the bottom right of your screen.

I managed to resize my window that way and it remembered that size the next time I opened it up.

707549 2008-09-26 10:48:00 kjaada,
what you are looking at is not a window , it is a form of dialogue box, it has no menu bar or size adjustment, just a cross in the top righthand corner to close it and maybe a help question mark for contextual help, it's part of the browse facilities. If you choose list as the view you can see about 18 file names and scroll for the rest.

what you are looking at is not a window , it is a form of dialogue box, it has no menu bar or size adjustment, ...At work on my XP machine I quite easily managed to re-size my window (dialog boxes are windows) both when browsing to insert files into Outlook and other applications, using the method I mentioned before.

707552 2008-09-26 21:46:00 There are no diagonal lines or anything in what I see (it as described by jinja_thom)and I am now sure there is no way to stretch it..We will live with it.(It may help me persuade her to give linux or Thunderbird a try) kjaada (253)
