| 707507 | 2008-09-24 10:55:00 | I have been trying to set up a connection to a cable modem on a laptop and was asked to re-start. Now windows is asking for a username and password. All thanks in advance |

| 707508 | 2008-09-24 11:16:00 | Tried typing Administrator for username and no password? If it works once you're in windows disable passwords. Or-if all else fails-boot into safe mode :D |

| 707510 | 2008-09-24 21:36:00 | this is for XP - Click start/ go to control Panel/ user Accounts , Up top is the words" Change the way users log on and off " click that, and tick Use welcome screen. Note: this only works if the log on doesn't have a password, other wise you will get the user name on startup. If you have a password, remove it from the user account. |
