| 707134 | 2008-09-23 06:24:00 | I have purchased a used OEM XP Media Center PC which works perfectly well in every respect except that when I configure the display adapter for TV output (clone mode) the TV will display everything except Media Center. If I open Media Center the screen goes black with only the cursor visible.I can press the windows start button on the keyboard and the screen will come back but if I click on anything in Media Center the screen will go black again. This happens even if the TV is not connected to the PC. Media Center works fine if the display is configured for monitor only. Any ideas? | NIGGEL (2358) | ||

| 707142 | 2008-09-24 09:31:00 | Thanks for the links. I will look into it but since this PC was built for MCE I would have thought it would have the correct drivers already. | NIGGEL (2358) | ||
| 707143 | 2008-09-29 08:08:00 | Tried the new driver Plus Windows updates to no avail. Found a fix on another forum which suggested to create a new user profile and start WMC under the new user. Works perfectly. Must have re-initialised WMC under the new user profile. Now I only need to switch profiles to view WMC on the TV. Anyone know how I can re-initialise WMC under my old profile so I don't have to switch users? | NIGGEL (2358) | ||
