707114 2008-09-23 04:13:00 this is a simple questrions i wanted to know how people on forums make links like it says click here and the here is blue and when you click on it it takes you to a website. how do you do that?

and not just by clicking the hyperlink button as well becaue i want it for MSN

707115 2008-09-23 04:28:00 It differs depending on where you're trying to make links.

HTML (webpages, some forums):
<a href="www.example.com Here</a>

BBCode (most forums):
[URL=http://www.example.com/&#93;Click Here[/URL]

MSN can't do it at all as far as I'm aware, or if it can you'll need to use their widget to do it, or paste RTF data. I haven't used the official client for a long time though, so that may have changed.

707116 2008-09-23 04:35:00 When you start a post or when you click the "Go Advanced button" for a reply you get a "Link" button in the toolbar — a small globe with a chain link — click on that and type or paste the URL you wish to link to in the box which pops up.

:o)

707118 2008-09-23 04:40:00 Use that big "Edit" button mate. :D wratterus (105)
707119 2008-09-23 04:40:00 Well the first part you answered yourself -

If you want to send a link thru msn you simply type or paste the url in the messanger - it will instantly become a clickable link by all in the chat, including yourself... even before you "send" it.

BUT - they are only clickable by users that have the following box ticked

msn-livemessanger -> tools -> Options -> Security ->
"Allow Links in the Conversation Window"

You need to be a bit clearer on what exactly the question is really in future please

Little warning here, and to reinforce what nerd has said.... do NOT and I repeat DO NOT go anywhere near meatspin. You will be scarred for life.
