| 477928 | 2006-08-12 03:44:00 | The Labour Party has been found to have improperly spent $400,000 of your money on political advertising. Instead of paying it back, Michael Cullen proposes retrospective legislation which will legalise unlawful spending. www.nzherald.co.nz I think this is outrageous. In the first place this is taxpayers money wrongly used by government MPs to shamelessly - I repeat shamelessly, promote their own political interests. Secondly retrospectively legalising a past wrong is frowned upon in most democracies. It is very rare. And this is particularly true when it is solely the politicians themselves who benefit. It gets worse. Cullen is now saying that all political party spending in NZ should be funded by the taxpayer. An open chequebook from us so they can send smug self-congratulatory letters to us about how wonderful they are. Makes me sick. |

| 477929 | 2006-08-12 04:05:00 | I read this a couple of hours ago, I have only now managed to unclench my fists and relax my jaw. The Government is sickining, Disgusting, and in need of a damn good thrashing. Seems they can do no wrong as they only have to answer to themselves. The ex-teacher with the tennis ball fetish, The deputy who didn't submit the correct tax papers, and the filtcher who used over-stayers to paint his houses all should have been fired. The PM should have her arse kicked for endagering people on teh road with her high speed convoy and the entire shambles needs to be ripped apart over this latest crap. Heads need to roll. Hell, make them persoanlly responcible for the spending outside the law. Throw then in jail. STONE THEM, LET THE BUZZARDS EAT THEIR BODIES. MUHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. How the feck did these bastards get back in charge. |

| 477932 | 2006-08-12 11:59:00 | This sounds like a bad case of 'third-term-itis'. Governments don't often survive that affliction. The sooner this coalition falls apart the better...... | andrew93 (249) | ||
| 477933 | 2006-08-12 12:32:00 | Winstone..... they're politicians. I am surprirised that a man of your knowledge would find anything here to take offence at. Scratch any of them and you find a self-seeking, posturing...... well, you know that. | Scouse (83) | ||
