| 477797 | 2006-08-11 16:31:00 | hey people, m just a little confused here... whats the deal with people buying or selling 5cent coins.. i know its no longer in circulation but does this mean the older the coins are the more value it holds( meanin sellin it for higher price...lol). cheers |

Just depends on how many were made, and any with faults or a changed design part way through the mint can be worth more again. The 5 cents and the old 10,20 and 50 cent coins are legal tender till the end of October.(Just not for our parking meters!!) |
