| 477159 | 2007-10-15 20:34:00 | The E-Savage I imported from America via Tower Hobbies.Now sold thanks to Trademe. For radio gear I use Spektrum to avoid crystals, and just have a receiver for each car. (each car that I have left) I also keep one old style AM radio system in case someone else wants a go. Have also switched my main racecar (the Losi, now also sold) over to a brushless combo. Now I need a new car to put it in. Next on the list is Lipo batteries. |

| 477161 | 2007-10-15 22:35:00 | I have never been stung for customs fees, and I import the vast majority of my gear. However, I have been advised that $400 is the threshold, Asian stores routinely mark down the value of the items for the purpose of customs. Just don't ask them to do it. |
