477326 2006-08-09 18:40:00 The reason I don't like cordless is I had a bad experience with a Logitech joystick. Lasted about a month.

I changed it for the same model, but with a cord, and I am still using it.

477328 2006-08-09 21:39:00 I found this mouse here really nice:

www.noelleeming.co.nz ($25)

Cheap and comfortable, with buttons on the side.

It has a CD with drivers you can install so that you can configure the buttons to whatever you want. If you don't install the drivers, the buttons on the side default to forward and back. That was perfect for me, so I didn't install the driver, just plugged it straight it.

I use the buttons on the side heaps while web browsing. Very useful indeed.

477330 2006-08-09 22:45:00 I too have a Logitech cordless mouse & keyboard. It is essential to have spare batteries available at all times, as they seem to run out regularly, and sometimes with no warning. I also had an unexpected problem when the mouse wouldn't work on my leather covered computer desk, as it has a red/brown colour. I was trying to get by without having to use a mouse pad. I now find that a sheet of paper works well as a pad, but still seek a better solution. Any suggestions out there?

I love it and quite cheap.I use the LX-7 at work, though I found it a little small for my liking.

Actually more like cutting off your nose as well as smiting your face. Cordless technology isn't perfect yet, and when it comes to life-critical performances such as gaming, then strings-attached are still the way to go.
