707449 2008-09-24 01:50:00 I have got a friend who ordered a computer part from Digital Shop softwareshop dot co dot nz on Monday afternoon online. They found them on pricespy. They also paid by credit card at the time of purchase. Apart from an automated email which said that it would be delivered within 48 hours, they haven't received any other communication from this online retailer. In a few hours it will be 48 hours since they submitted the order. They emailed them yesterday afternoon to confirm whether they received the order, but also have not had any reply. Anyone had any experience with this online retailer? robbyp (2751)

707452 2008-09-24 05:23:00 Some of the stuff they sell, they dont actually have in stock - they either get it in and ship it to you, or get their suppliers to ship it direct. This can take time. I dont deal with them anymore after waiting 2 weeks for goods and finally getting a refund. racepics (7812)
707453 2008-09-24 05:31:00 have dealt with digital shop in the past and had nothing but superb service from them when the product has been in stock, however when its out of stock then you may be waiting a week or two.

Normally I get all my stock direct from major suppliers since I run an onsite IT business. However I have noticed on pricespy of late that a lot of shops listed dont have stock. In one instance last month I was after an AMD AM2 64 6000 CPU for a client, the cheapest 3 shops in my area for this product upon ringing them had no stock and all 3 told me they had had no stock of the product for several weeks and werent expecting any more due to end of line, so I asked why they still listed it on there site of which none of them could respond, the shops in question were Ifocus, Ezone & XP Computers.
