Had some time this afternoon, so downloaded and tried to install on a workshop PC------- Yeah that didn't go to well. :( Might be to higher components. :) But it does run OK from the CD. | 1431437 | 2017-02-01 21:28:00 | I downloaded the 3rd party chrome clone CloudReady & ran that from USB Yeah, its really basic . I cant understand why some would by a Chromebook for Business Use, its quite limited Only issue I had was booting from USB stick The 1st , brand new 16G USB stick I tried wasnt bootable (tried on 2 laptops) so I used another USB stick that I know was bootable & put the image on that One laptop was only USB bootable from some USB ports, just why . :badpc: :badpc: You'd think, after all these years, USB boot would have been finally sorted out once & for all. USB Stick boot Still an issue with some hardware it seems. |
