1430063 2016-12-22 02:58:00 In the nicest possible way, you're a bastard. :p What router are you using?

I'm still stuck on ADSL. :( Is that with bigpipe?

1430064 2016-12-22 03:02:00 The bog standard Huawei 659 that Spark provide (I have a TP-Link in the lounge for the WiFi for the house).

I just upgraded from "Naked Unlimited" to "Fibre MAX" - technically, it's supposed to be 1000/500, but hey... close enough for now...

1430065 2016-12-22 03:06:00 Wow....I am thoroughly amazed that Huawei can achieve that throughput. What are you paying per month for that connection? Bigpipe is $129 for the same thing. wratterus (105)
1430066 2016-12-22 03:11:00 $139 a month - time to review my mobile plan - think I'm paying too much there and can trim it a bit.... johcar (6283)
1430067 2016-12-22 03:15:00 Very reasonable. I would personally change out the Huawei for one of these....

I try to work on the basis of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", having had some bad experiences with various items over the years..

1430070 2016-12-22 04:58:00 The Netflix service at fast.com is reporting around 700 Mbps down - which is plenty for streaming from their servers, but understandably a little different from Spark's servers johcar (6283)
1430071 2016-12-22 20:30:00 I still just can't believe that Huawei is actually capable of that much throughput lol. wratterus (105)
