1429928 2016-12-16 22:10:00 Should you use upper case I or lower case l to represent a 1 (one) Driftwood (5551)
1429929 2016-12-16 22:53:00 I would say either, both are commonly used, though I is seen on actual Roman inscriptions. Terry Porritt (14)
1429930 2016-12-16 23:05:00 What's wrong with using the "!" key 1 ?? Zippity (58)
1429931 2016-12-16 23:46:00 What's wrong with using the "!" key 1 ??

Because 11 = eleven, whereas II = two !

1429932 2016-12-16 23:58:00 But if you bin it, 11 = II = 3 surely?
Isn't there a rule these days that there has to be an H in there somewhere? (Possibly to indicate the Koha demand that is inevitable.)

I thought 11 = a racehourse, or was that 22?

Anyway assuming there's some reason not to simply use 1 then I is a better match than i IMHO

1429934 2016-12-17 00:04:00 Is a "racehourse" just one (or 1, or I, or l) that is a bit slower than usual?
;)

1429935 2016-12-17 00:10:00 Didn't realise I'd done that :) teach me attempting even lame humour with my head the way it is (been sick all week).

No I meant a regular speed "racehorse" of course, had to be because it won one race as you may know.
