| 1429335 | 2016-12-01 05:30:00 | ...seemed just like Auckland today. The Sulphur fire at the Challenge fertilizer works on the waterfront forced closure of State Highway 2 this afternoon causing large holdups of traffic because of all the detoured traffic. For those who know Pakowhai Road, I was passed by a tractor which was ploughing a field. :) :) Ken |

That's what I got stuck behind, This rather large guy on this little scooter, poor thing was revving its guts out trying to get up the rise at a fast walking pace, a very narrow road, couldn't pass him and a line of traffic banking up behind - Could only laugh really  |

| 1429338 | 2016-12-01 21:46:00 | Joke! pctek . No I have never experienced an Auckland traffic jam . In the late 60's SWMBO and I left Napier and went back to the Great Auck for a couple of years and I drove a refrigerated van for General Foods (Tip Top etc . ) . We used to race the trucks on the motorway after we left the factory at Sylvia Park at 7 . 30am . Thank God we escaped the place in 1970 . I am an Aucklander born and bred till the age of 20 but now feel that if . . . . . . . . . . . New Zealand was to be given an enema, Auckland is where they would stick the tube up! Ken :) |

| 1429339 | 2016-12-02 00:14:00 | Joke! pctek. There was a traffic jam in Gore one day. A whole nine cars stuck at the roundabout (there are no traffic lights at all) waiting while a car accident was cleared. OMG! Auckland, I came back from Hamilton late Friday one day. Even worse I didn't get off at the SW bit. Bad idea I know. The traffic going South was screwed from Papakura all the way to nearly Khyber Pass. Some accident, I saw an ambulance and a couple of cop cars.... I was thinking how lucky I was to be going north when I got stuck in the screwup on the NW as soon as I joined it. Took 3 hrs to get home in total, it had only taken me 1 hr total to get to Hamilton. |

Ken :) If the enema tube was up Auckland that would clear out a whole load of cr*p, maybe without the procedure being carried out anywhere else . :D |
