You have a lot of stuff running in the background. That you don't need there.

Clear what runs at startup, a lot of it you can do as required rather than everythig sitting there hogging resources, updating and whatever when it feels like it.

Second, do people not wonder why the PC they bought, shiny and new, fast and awesome, becomes slow?
It's not the hardware.

Its the clutter that accumulates.

Not just all this stuff as above, but every time you install something, more crap gets shoved into the registry, various system folders, your profile, etc etc.
Uninstalling never removes it all, usually just the main install folder.

Over time, it's like having a trailer on your car, jammed to overflowing. Poor car can't cope.
Same with the PC.

Back up your data. Wipe it and do a fresh install.

It's a pain I know, but it does wonders.

Once you have installed everything back, make an image of C:
Next time it gets like this, no headache on doing a reinstall, you can just reimage it and install the few things that have been changed meantime.

1430992 2017-01-29 00:52:00 Not get "rid of them". Take them out of the startup.
These are not Windows updates.

And relying on those to protect you is dubious at best anyway.

No. You just prevent them from starting whenever the computer is booted.
