| 1431633 | 2017-02-06 02:52:00 | Anyone know where to find the driver for this device? Trying to get it going for a vinyl cutter for a friend, but am having no luck getting the drivers for this thing. I can find drivers for the similar model XH8290 but they don't work. Computer is a Sony Vaio Y Series VPCYB16KG with Windows 10 Pro x64. If 64-bit is the problem, I might be able to grab a 32-bit system to try on. |

| 1431639 | 2017-02-06 04:07:00 | What if you go to its entry in device manager / driver tab / update driver. Does it find one? It either doesn't, or seems to get stuck on "Searching online for software" which it's currently doing. |

| 1431640 | 2017-02-06 04:33:00 | It may use an FTDI chip. Get the top driver. (www.catalog.update.microsoft.com) Extract it. Right mouse on the ftdibus.inf file and the ftdiport.inf file / install See what happens |

| 1431641 | 2017-02-06 08:29:00 | It's an FTDI chip but it seems DSE or such gave it a custom VID/PID. You should be able to install the standard FTDI driver from www.ftdichip.com and when Windows complains that the driver doesn't match the hardware, force it to install. |
