| 1431530 | 2017-02-04 20:34:00 | This is weird and very hard to explain to the point where I have given up trying to find it with Google. When I move any window around by left clicking on the top bar and dragging the mouse the movement is sharp and concise. It goes exactly where I want it to regardless of the location of the cursor on the bar or the speed I move the mouse.... Except MS Office 2013. When moving a Office window it kinda floats along, fast at the edges slow in the middle of the screen and never stops where I want it to so takes twice as long to realign where I want it on the screen especially as I tend to resize windows to maximize screen real estate. This has to be a setting right as nothing else does this, help me turn this off please! |

Start any Office 2013 program. On the File tab, click Options. In the Options dialog box, click Advanced. In the list of available options, select Disable hardware graphics acceleration. Click OK. | 1431532 | 2017-02-04 22:39:00 | The Hardware graphics option did not help. Also this is a very grunty machine, latest drivers and it is ONLY MS Office that has this issue, specifically Excel. |

You can try disabling the animation, but it may do nothing. Instructions in this post (answers.microsoft.com) Keep in mind that if a window is not moving smooth, dragging behind, stretching out its the graphics not drawing/refreshing correctly. Like this: 7847 What's causing it to do this could be damaged graphic or other drivers ( AMD had a massive problem with Office 2013 a while back) , faults in the Program (office) etc, Could even be a corrupted profile. One test, when it lags, open task manager at the same time, see what is sucking all the power. If task manager wont open until Office catches up then something is sucking all the available power. |

| 1431534 | 2017-02-05 00:28:00 | This doesn't seem like a bug to me. The more I look at it its like I click off to the side of the top bar to start the drag, I finish the drag and the mouse stops but the window carries on for a few more pixels like its aligning back to center or something. But because of this realignment, it is not where I want it to be precisely and requires further adjustment. |

Assume once everything aligns the actual program works like it should ? |

| 1431537 | 2017-02-05 16:09:00 | I have just tried both Office 2010 and 2016 on the same PC and both move ok on Excel, I dont have 2013. Have you tried repairing Office 2013 under Programs and Features? You Right Click Microsoft Office 2013 and then select "Change" and then first try a Quick Repair and if still the same then try On-Line Repair. (At least thats what I see when trying it on Microsoft Professional Plus 2010 and 2016) |
