1430963 2017-01-23 00:52:00 Since last Thursday we've been having some super odd DNS issues .

On 2Degrees VDSL, with a Draytek DV130 . Some sites are totally fine, others (speedtest . net for example) will not load at all, however if 2Degrees actual DNS servers (202 . 37 . 101 . 1 and 202 . 37 . 101 . 2) are manually input into windows, we can browse normally .

The DNS the modem is getting reflects those I just posted, which should be correct .

I'm almost at the point of getting another modem to try - anyone have any thoughts?

1430964 2017-01-23 02:22:00 Ok, so setup a brand new TP-Link TD-W9980 - this works perfectly. Reset the Draytek to defaults and re-setup, same problem. Seems like some crazy firmware issue...

There also doesn't seem to be anywhere to manually set the DNS when in VDSL mode...

I run a DV130 at home so will bring that in tomorrow to test with.

1430965 2017-01-23 22:57:00 OK, tried my DV130 - same issue. The TP-Link TD-W9980 works perfectly. Something very odd going on for sure. wratterus (105)
1430966 2017-01-29 21:10:00 Is IPv6 enabled? Alex B (15479)
1430967 2017-01-31 19:56:00 IPV6 was disabled.

In the end it's turned out that we have just had to put our ISP's DNS servers in the LAN DNS area in the modem. Beats me why it suddenly stopped working.
