| 708119 | 2008-09-27 02:39:00 | I have a friend who has two email accounts in their Outlook Express . They have two because they spend a few months in Australia every winter . One account has smtp as their Paradise ISP and the other has Bigpond as the smtp svr . So, they are back in NZ with the default svr set to the paradise smtp account . But it seems as if sending mail to people they would have been emailing from Australia has OE using the bigpond account with predictable mail relay errors . I got them to delete the bigpond account and that seems to have fixed the problem . So, does OE store the previously used account for each person on the contacts list and only use the default account for new people?? Any other answers? I'm especially puzzled as this dual account scheme, with switch of default when they change countries, has been working for a couple of years I am pretty sure . Enlightenment welcome! |
