708089 2008-09-27 02:03:00 I have a DVD that has Video movie that i can play fine on my PC using Windows Media Player.

However i cant play the same DVD on my normal DVD player to watch on TV

How can i burn/convert these files/movie to another DVD which i can play on normal DVD player.

On the DVD i have it has two folders: AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS
in which there are various .VOB, .BUP, .IFO files

I am guessing i will need some sort of conversion software. If so, is there a free version available on net that i can use.

Thanks for any help

Or cdburnerxp (which is free). I think this can burn them into DVD format

708091 2008-09-27 02:59:00 You can also use DVDFab (www.dvdfab.com) - load in your DVD or files from the PC and away you go - you can change it to either 4.7 Single DVD or Dual layer if the DVD writer can do dual Layer.

Full tutorial on the site as to how to work the program.

Free trial for a month - fully functional.

708093 2008-09-27 18:42:00 I always use IMGBurn, another free burner.

http://www.imgburn.com/

On the first startup screen, select "write files/folders to disc.Next screen, hover your mouse over the options on the lefthand screen and select "browse for a folder" and select your "VIDEO_TS
in which there are various .VOB, .BUP, .IFO files" folder.
To the right on that screen select "device" and set your burn speed which should be set low depending on the make of disc, although I burn Verbatim discs at 12X.
Under "Information" select "Auto" which shows how big your video file is, ie, if it will fit on a single DVD.
