| 708053 | 2008-09-26 21:52:00 | Go here (h10025.www1.hp.com) and try the audio Drtivers, they are for an earlier model, but realtek 97 XP. the graphic Drivers according the the HP site are nVidia (www.nvidia.com) What else is missing in the device manager ? |

| 708054 | 2008-09-28 01:03:00 | I just reinstalled XP on this machine after a hard drive failure so I can assure you they work and the machine is totally compatable with XP regardless of what HP says. I used the following drivers Video 163.71_forceware_winxp_32bit_english_whql from Nvidia Sound WDM_R178 This is the High Definition audio driver from the Realtec website This driver installs about three things but I forget which ones 8.26_11.09_nforce_winxp_english from Nvidia The downloads are fairly large (about 130Meg) |
