Which would mean changing the motherboard too. Intel out-performs AMD these days. In order of importance: Graphics PSU (because the GPU will need it) CPU |

What do you have? I have a viewsonic 17" inch LCD which im told is meant to run on 1280x1024 but if i play on that i have to put the graphics on low to get decent gameplay I am on a bit of a budget of around 350, so not too keen geting a new motherboard, ASUS M2N-E SLI is the one i have now k if i were to get a new graphics card ive been thinking of upgrading to 8800gt or 9800gt but ive been told they have a high power supply usage so i would have to upgrade my PSU as well is that true |

"nVidia 8800GT 512MB PCI-E DVI-I graphics card retail box" was listed here at ETC Computers for $219.38 including gst on 27th Sep 03:39" - www.pricespy.co.nz "Enermax 535W ATX PSU EG565P-VE SFMA" was listed here at OCZone for $138.62 including gst on 27th Sep 05:01" - www.pricespy.co.nz $7.00 more than ur budget. not too bad eh? |
