| 707914 | 2008-09-26 03:24:00 | have a Compaq nc8230 notebook, 40Gb hdd. cloned to a 160Gb hdd. placed the 160Gb in the notebook -- won't boot. tried a repair install -- still wont boot. I couldn't see any setting is the bios. Any suggestions? |

| 707921 | 2008-09-26 04:01:00 | I'd do the clone again, sounds as if it really hasn't gone through properly. Are you able to check and make sure the file system on the old HDD is NTFS? You can look that up in control panel, admin tools/computer management/disk management. | wratterus (105) | ||
