| 478539 | 2006-08-14 22:40:00 | I've just read on Chris Keall's blog here (blogs.pcworld.co.nz) that New Zealanders can sign up to Gmail without the need for an invite. So I've finally signed up to a Gmail account, but this is the first I've heard about it. Has it been reported elsewhere? You can also sign up using SMS. I guess this makes the Gmail Invite Megathread redundant now. That thread was the eighth most-viewed thread on PressF1, with over 19,000 views. |
