| 708571 | 2008-09-29 04:02:00 | Hi Guys, was on the look out for a new desktop, and came across this: Specs: CPU: AMD X2 4600+ 2.4Ghz Dual core RAM: 4GB DDR2-800 High performance DDR ram Hard drive: Seagate 250GB SATA II HDD Motherboard: Abit AM2+ (up to 8GB of RAM) DVD: 20X Dual Layer DVD writer LAN: Gigabit LAN Sound: Soundmax high definition audio Case: Black case with 370W PSU OS - Windows XP Pro He wanted $510 for the above. seems reasonable to me....any advice?? Thanks |

| 708580 | 2008-09-29 07:37:00 | do you need the os or do already have a copy? quickly running whats there through pricespy.co.nz it works out cheaper to build it new (im assumin this is secondhand) plus gives you room (also assuming your budget is about 500?) to get a bigger psu which you will need if you ever add a graphics card | hueybot3000 (3646) | ||
