Updates automatically. Great for those who want to get out for a cycle but are too woosey to brave the cold. |

| 480191 | 2006-08-23 04:04:00 | Also willing those darn numbers to increase doesn't work either. It worked for me! When I first opened the page it was 7.6 deg and as I watched it went up to 7.7 then 7.8 then 7.9 deg, all in the space of 15 minutes. What I can't figure out is why that page currently says 8.4 deg and Konfabulator's weather thingy says 9 deg and my outdoor thermometer says 12 deg... Who the heck am I to believe when I need to decide whether to wear my jacket outside or not? :p |

This is new technology and it is still a bit buggy :nerd: |

| 480193 | 2006-08-23 04:24:00 | Yes, that technology is buggy alright - the door next to the PC is already being constantly opened and shut to let Fox Terrible in and out so the temperature equilisation is not working here. Or maybe it is working but just a little too efficiently with the Fox Terrible's air current outwards being a little too high, keeping the indoor area too cool. I am sure it will work brilliantly in the summer though. |

| 480195 | 2006-08-23 05:32:00 | Mind you this is a pretty radical approach to do things and I take no responsibility if you get hot, cold, wet or anything that has to do with the weather. :) Children ask your parents first, may need adult supervision. (or should that be the other way around) You may need to seek further advice if not sure on the weather and the out come for the day/night. "I have heard rumours that some people will go to great lengths to find out about the weather, some turn on a thing called a tv which is like a box with a glass side on it,with buttons and wires and some even have a thing called a "remote control" thingy and watch a programme called "The News" and on that programme they have this segment called "The Weather" its very informative and they say they know in advance what the weather will do BEFORE its even happend. Some people even listen to a "radio" which is another box thingy, but with voices, and music, and noise comming from it.And then there is this other thing called a newspaper that is like a book on everything that has happend for that day". "But I would'nt know,Gladys told us this stuff and you know what Gladys is like, allways thinks she knows everthing". "I that she does" :D |
